The Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry is the foremost international journal devoted to the interdisciplinary subject of electrochemistry in all its aspects, theoretical as well as applied.Electrochemistry is a wide ranging area that is in a state of continuous evolution. Rather than compiling a long list of topics covered by the Journal, the editors would like to draw particular attention to the key issues of novelty, topicality and quality. Papers should present new and interesting electrochemical science in a way that is accessible to the reader. The presentation and discussion should be at a level that is consistent with the international status of the Journal. Reports describing the application of well-established techniques to problems that are essentially technical will not be accepted. Similarly, papers that report observations but fail to provide adequate interpretation will be rejected by the Editors. Papers dealing with technical electrochemistry should be submitted to other specialist journals unless the authors can show that their work provides substantially new insights into electrochemical processes.

总体说来,投稿速度很快。一审花了17天,二审花了7天不到,每次投稿都是当天with editor和第二天under review。一审给了大修,两个审稿人,一共提了13个问题。个别问题确实不好回答,有要求添加实验的,给了20天时间修改。总之,审稿人审稿中规中矩,编辑办事效率极高。当然,大修稿在我手上改了十多天,中间有十天啥都没做,如果能提提速,还会更快。最后,感谢审稿人给出的准确意见;感谢南大xia老师,感谢poland的marcin opallo老师。

速度中规中矩,审稿人意见很多很详细,难回答但是对对文章提升很大,编辑夏老师很nice,速度很快

editor:roberto m. torresi, phd. 编辑认真负责,效率特别高。初投一天送审,初审15天返回审稿意见,两个审稿人意见特别中肯,编辑给了大修。由于赶上春节,提前返校,用了20完成修改,写了8页”response to reviews“详细地回答了审稿人的问题。修改稿再投后,编辑第二天送审,审稿人很给力,编辑第三天给予接收。从第一次投递到最终接收共49天。不得不说,这个杂志效率很高,编辑特别认真负责。
